A LITTLE ABOUT ME.
As a kid I was always active and growing up I loved sports, later in life I enjoyed training hard at the gym. Like most of us I went through a lot of trial and error though regarding my eating habits and training.
During my pregnancy it was when I got to reconnect with my yoga mat. I had tried it before but it was not on the top of my list. This time around I could not get enough of it. The mind body connection, the breath, the alone time discovering myself. I can talk forever now why I keep going back to my mat. Finally, after years of trial and error, I have realized that being fit and healthy is vital for balance of body and mind.
In my forties, I feel better and stronger than ever. I am also the happiest I have ever been. It took a while, but the challenge shaped me into the trainer/teacher and person I am today.
My Xplorefit Training is a Low to High Intensity Interval circuit training that I finish up with 20 minutes of mindful yoga. Xplorefit was created for all fitness levels. In class we mostly using body weight and light weights up to 10pounds. I believe that it is one of the healthiest, safest and most effective ways to train myself and my clients.
My yoga classes are vinyasa based, usually taught in a heated room with upbeat music. I do occasionally indulge in taking a good yin and yoga nidra class though.
Obsessed with the sky I always take time to look up, I am also a big animal lover. I currently have a 14year old furry baby and looking in adopting another one soon.
My greatest teacher, my 9 year old son by far!!!!
