Amorgos is a stunning, unspoiled island located at the southeastern edge of the Cyclades group in Greece. Known for its dramatic landscapes, traditional charm, and tranquil atmosphere, it is a hidden gem for those seeking an authentic Greek experience. The island is rich in history, dating back to its settlement by seafarers from Asia Minor in the 4th century BC.
Amorgos offers a striking combination of mountains, meadows, and picturesque coastlines. Its rugged terrain is perfect for hiking, with panoramic views from peaks like Krikelos and Profitis Ilias. The island is dotted with beautiful beaches, such as Agia Anna, Mouros, and Aegiali, known for their crystal-clear waters. Amorgos is also famous for being the filming location of the iconic movie "The Big Blue."
