KATERINA FRAGKOU YOGA TEACHER AND HOST
Katerina is the visionary founder and retreat organizer of XPLOREFIT Retreats, based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Originally from Greece, Katerina draws inspiration from her homeland while curating retreats in breathtaking locations worldwide. A passionate traveler and lifelong athlete, she creates transformative experiences that promote personal growth, cultural immersion, and community.
As a NASM-certified personal trainer, sports nutritionist, and 500-Hour Yoga Alliance Instructor, Katerina brings over two decades of experience in fitness and wellness. Her retreats, often set in stunning Greek landscapes, empower participants, particularly women, to connect deeply with themselves and the world around them, unlocking their full potential in life and wellness.
TIFFANY SUN YOGA TEACHER AND SWIMMER
Tiffany began her journey in yoga for its physical benefits, but it soon became a source of clarity and release for her. Since 2014, she has been sharing her passion as a yoga teacher, focusing on helping others find balance between strength and flexibility while embracing the potential for personal growth and change.
Tiffany believes yoga is accessible to everyone and encourages students to fully immerse themselves in the present moment. Her classes are playful yet challenging, designed to help participants connect with their true potential.
Aegialis Hotel & Spa is a luxurious, wellness-focused retreat located in Amorgos, one of the most beautiful and unspoiled islands in the Cyclades. Amorgos is a stunning, unspoiled island located at the southeastern edge of the Cyclades group in Greece. Known for its dramatic landscapes, traditional charm, and tranquil atmosphere, it is a hidden gem for those seeking an authentic Greek experience. The island is rich in history, dating back to its settlement by seafarers from Asia Minor in the 4th century BC.
Amorgos offers a striking combination of mountains, meadows, and picturesque coastlines. Its rugged terrain is perfect for hiking, with panoramic views from peaks like Krikelos and Profitis Ilias. The island is dotted with beautiful beaches, such as Agia Anna, Mouros, and Aegiali, known for their crystal-clear waters. Amorgos is also famous for being the filming location of the iconic movie "The Big Blue."
One of the island’s most notable landmarks is the Byzantine Monastery of Panagia Hozoviotissa, perched dramatically on a cliffside, offering breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea. This historical and spiritual site enhances the island's serene and mystical atmosphere.
Amorgos remains relatively untouched by mass tourism, preserving its traditional customs and way of life. To reach Amorgos from San Francisco (SFO):
Fly from SFO to Athens (ATH) or Santorini (JTR):
Take a flight to Athens or fly to Santorini with a connecting flight in Europe. Both options are available for reaching Amorgos.
Transfer to Piraeus Port (Athens):
From Athens airport, take a taxi (45-60 min), metro (1 hour), or bus (1.5 hours) to Piraeus Port.
Alternatively, if flying into Santorini, head to the Santorini port.
Ferry to Amorgos:
From Piraeus or Santorini, take a ferry to Amorgos (Katapola or Aegiali ports). Ferries take 5 hours from Piraeus, or 1-2 hours from Santorini via high-speed vessels like Seajet.
Arrive in Amorgos:
We will arrange your transfer or taxi to Aegialis from the port.

XPLOREFIT do not offer refunds for the deposit and payments.
If you should need to cancel prior to the last payment payment deadline, you will not be responsible for the remainder of your payment. XPLOREFIT is not responsible for your expenses incurred in preparation for any canceled retreat, such as airline tickets, loss of work, positive covid test, extended lodging and/or other costs associated with preparing for your trip.
Shared Occupancy Rooms
For those traveling solo to our retreat, we understand the value of camaraderie and shared experiences. We will diligently strive to pair you with another like-minded participant for our shared occupancy suite. However, in the event we cannot find an appropriate match, please note that you would be responsible for the cost of a single occupancy space. We aim to create a harmonious environment for all and appreciate your understanding in this matter.
Travel cancellation insurance
It is your responsibility to read and understand our cancellation policy before making a reservation. Naturally, no one books with the intention of canceling or postponing their retreat, but unexpected things do happen, so please consider purchasing travel cancellation insurance. Depending on the policy and conditions, travel cancellation insurance will pay for some or all cancellation fees. With most agencies, insurance must be purchased within 14 days of making your reservation. After many requests, we’re excited to offer our beloved retreat weekend right here in the Central Valley at the serene and soul-nourishing Sagrada Wellness. Nestled in the golden hills near San Luis Obispo, this hidden gem is the perfect setting for rest, renewal, and reconnection—with nature, with your body, and with your wild, creative spirit.
We will move through grounding yoga practices, nourishing movement and time in nature. There will be space to soak in the salt water pool, to unwind in the hot tub under the stars, breathe deep in the fresh air, savor vibrant farm-to-table meals, and simply be.
Whether you’re local or just love the idea of a shorter travel getaway, this weekend retreat offers the spaciousness of nature and the intimacy of community. Come home to yourself—right here, right now.

The center is designed by Co-owner and Architect Scott Currie and has a contemporary, rustic, country aesthetic that offers guests a special place to reflect on peace, awareness, and rejuvenation in the ranch’s majestic and natural landscape. Purified spring water and an abundance of fresh fruit are always available. A cool cleanse in Sagrada's outdoor shower is refreshing after yoga or a walk on one of Sagrada's nature trails. Sagrada's all-inclusive retreat is designed around a landscaped courtyard, where guests can enjoy their meals, or a glass of wine at sunset. At the end of the day relax in the hot tub or saltwater pool under our starry night skies.

These rooms have one queen or king-size bed with comfy linens and open onto spacious patios with gorgeous ranch views. Bathrooms (shared) are across the hall and are accented with Italian tiles, reclaimed barn wood from our property, and modern waterfall showers. Bathrooms are cleaned daily and fresh towels are always provided.

The Communal Room is a shared accommodation in our sunny mountain vista room. A large outside patio with gorgeous views is the ideal space for journaling, chatting with new friends, or meditating on all of Sagrada's nature sounds. The communal room has a sitting area, plenty of cubby spaces for your clothes, toiletries and yoga gear, and a large bathroom. Bathrooms are cleaned daily and fresh towels are always provided. Maximum capacity 6 yogis.

Sagrada’s rooms offer cozy, comfortable linens and many open onto spacious patios with sweeping views of the ranch. Bathrooms feature elegant Italian tile, reclaimed barn wood from the land itself, and modern waterfall showers. Fresh towels are provided daily, ensuring a clean and restful stay.
You can pay in full or reserve your preferred space with an $500 deposit.
After the deposit, the balance will be paid in two balance payments.

FAQs and Cancellation Policy Information:
• How many spots are available for the retreat? There are rooms for 15 guests, plus two instructors.
• If I'm going on this trip solo, can I share with someone else in a Double or Triple room, or do I need to do a single room only? We will make an effort to pair you with someone. If we are unable to find someone to share the room, you can pay an additional to upgrade your reservation to a Single or Double.
• Should I have travel insurance?
Travel insurance is always a good idea when travelin. World Nomads (world nomads.com) is one option; there are many companies from which to choose.
• Are classes starting on and ending on Oct 3 and Oct 5? The retreat dates are Oct 3- Oct 5th , the retreat begins the evening of the 3rd, and ends the morning of the 5th.
• Will we be only at the retreat center, or has anything been discussed about going out to explore the nearby area? Our itinerary includes a hike and a dinner out to a local restaurant.
• If for some reason I would have to cancel, would I be able to get any money refunded?
Cancellations before July 1st, 2025: Payments are refunded minus your deposit. If we can fill your spot, payments are refunded minus a $400 processing fee. Cancellations after July 1st: No money will be refunded, but you'll receive a $300 credit toward a future XPLOREFIT/Dragonfly retreat.

With certifications in personal training, yoga, and nutrition, she offers a balanced approach that nurtures the body, mind, and spirit. SUZANNA SPRING
“Yoga is a dance of strength and grace, one that unexpectedly brings the mind in tune with the heart.” –Suzanna Spring
Owner of Dragonfly Yoga + Wellness studio and a practitioner of yoga for more than twenty years, Suzanna Spring is a Yoga Alliance 500-hour E-RYT (Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher) and YACEP (Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider). Suzanna has studied both Iyengar and Ashtanga yoga traditions. She holds a certification in Prana Vinyasa yoga from Shiva Rea’s Samudra School, as well as training in Neelakantha Meditation and teaching certification for Yin yoga. Suzanna has taught at many yoga studios in the East Bay and worked with military veterans in the Polytrauma Unit of VA-PAHCS and in the Veterans Center at Las Positas College, teaching yoga asana and meditation. Suzanna is also Co-Director and teacher trainer for Dragonfly Yoga Teacher Training Programs. A skilled meditation instructor and a strong believer in the body’s innate ability to heal, she offers challenge and strength in her vinyasa classes and a meditative, breath-centered practice in her yin classes.
Suzanna leads yoga retreats nationally and internationally, and since 2012 has taken groups of students to Bali, Italy, Spain, Mexico, Costa Rica, Scotland, and to Greece.
